Shinedown have established themselves as one of the finest up and coming rock backs of 2009 over the past few months, and with a new line up and a new album ready for release, there was no stopping these boys over the weekend.
Proving that rock and roll can have heart, the guys pulled out all the stops in their half hour set, as the fans sung back lyric after lyric to the music gods on stage.
Belting out tracks from their album, Sound Of Madness, as well as old favourites such as 45, the crowd couldn’t get enough of these little foxes, and I’m pretty sure that anyone who missed their support slot on the Disturbed tour will have been converted to a full-on fan.
I caught up with the band over the course of the weekend to chat about how they were enjoying the festival and what we can expect from them in the coming months, be sure to check out our interview later this week.
