When I was looking for some shade from the boiling hot sun, I stumbled into the Tuborg tent and caught some of Facecage’s set… well, that was interesting.
To be honest, they were a little on the heavy side for me, and I felt like I needed to ear plugs to be able to enjoy them fully, but judging from the crowd reaction to the band, it all seemed pretty good.
Like an idiot I found myself wandering into the free space in between one of their songs, only to end up in the middle of what seemed to be a tiny little mosh pit, either way I was quickly on my way back out of there and over to the safety of the ice cream van.
One thing’s for sure though, I think over the next couple of years Facecgae will find themselves climbing further up the bill, and ultimately onto the bigger stages at the festival.
