So I just heard this song for the first time, and I guess I'm pretty late to the game. Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Rhianna. Run This Town. I'm into it.
I very rarely listen to hip hop. I like the occasional Rick Ross, 2Pac and Biggie, just like every other white suburbanesque kid from the States that says they occasionally listen to hip hop.
This song grabbed me because of the lyrics though. It's all about being unapologetic about living the life you've built around you, and i like that. Kanye's cocky lyrics are up to par with what has made him famous, and Rhianna's hook is the major selling point.
