Fantastic Four was originally set to be released 19th June, but will now take over Assassin's Creed release date of 7th August.
As for the adaptation of the popular computer game, a new release date for the film has not yet been determined.
The adaptation of Assassin's Creed is a project that has been in the pipeline for some time, and will see Michael Fassbender take on the central role.
Earlier this year Fassbender assured fans that a screenplay was being worked on, while Daniel Espinosa and Justin Kurzel have both been linked to the director's chair.

Josh Trank is in the director's chair, while Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Michael B Jordan are on board as Reed Richard, Sue Storm, Johnny Story and Ben Grimm.
20th Century Fox have the rights to the Fantastic Four, and the movie is set to be one of the biggest new superhero franchises of 2015.
