The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner may be 74 but he insisted he’s got no intention of slowing down and is looking forward to a “golden gap year”.
Harry and his granddaughter Molly are urging fellow over 65s to pursue their adventuring spirit and win the chance to kickstart their own Golden Gap Year getaway with a £5,000 voucher from Hotels.com.
The sporting legend said: “It’s been a tough year for us golden oldies, but I certainly don’t feel my age and I’m buzzing to get out and about again.

The competition comes after research found more than half of over 65s travel more now than in their 20s, and a similar percentage – 53% - regret not travelling more when they were younger.
With 44% of over 65s considering themselves adventurous, a quarter of those surveyed by Hotels.com are keen to interrail around Europe, a third want to go on an American road trip and a particularly lively 5% want to attend a beach party in Thailand, so now may well be the right time for the 93% who never had a gap year travelling abroad to fulfil their dreams.
