Greg Rutherford is still feeling "very sore and very tired" as he continues his recovery from injury.
The former Olympian withdrew from the 'Dancing On Ice' final after he suffered an injury in rehearsals, and Greg has now taken to social media to update fans about his recovery.
In an Instagram post on Monday (11.03.24), Greg said: "Seen a specialist today, I've got some scans tomorrow, and then I will know more about what's going on, and what's happening.
"I'm very sore and very tired so I'm going to get an early night tonight. But again I cannot believe the amount of lovely messages I've had so thanks very much. I'll update everybody once I know what the next step is. This is grim."
Greg, 37, also shared a video of himself and Vanessa James, his professional partner, performing the bolero.
The former athlete - who won the long jump gold medal at London 2012 - wrote: "Something that I really wish I could have performed... #Bolero Im almost 36 hours since the injury and watching the videos of what could have been. It's bloody hard to take at this point as I know we could have shown something exciting and new with our final performances.
"Of course the Bolero isn't a given and I'll post our showcase at some point too... I haven't shown the end as I'm determined to actually perform it with Vanessa one day for everyone to see.
"I'm really proud of what we achieved on the show. This take was from Saturday morning and we were marking for the double twist... the full program was truly beautiful. I'm a bit heart broken at the moment. (sic)"
