Revenge of the Fallen and Dark Side of the Mood followed in 2009 and 2011 and brought the story of Sam Witwicky to a close. The franchise is one of the most successful of all time with the third film breaking the $1 billion barrier.
A fourth instalment is set for a 2014 release and will see Mark Wahlberg take over the lead role as the franchise is set to be taken in a new direction.
