The Longsands have been one of the favourite bands in the FemaleFirst office in 2012 after the release of their great album Meet Me In Spanish City and this week they are back.
Worlds Collide is the latest single to be release off the album and it is one of the catchiest tracks on Meet Me In Spanish City.
World Collide is an anthemic guitar-fuelled rock track that was the perfect opener to the album and is perfect for the radio.
This is a track that shows what the boys are all about as it is packed with catchy hooks and it is an instantly engaging track that will leave you wanting more.
Worlds Collide is the best single release from the boys so far and they have clearly been influenced by the likes of Ocean Colour Scene and Oasis.
But they don't try to copy the sound of any of the bands that have gone before as they have created their own standout sound - this really is a great track from a fantastic album.
Never Turn Your Back On The Sun is the second track on the single and it sees the band really go for a lighter and less rockier pace - showing of their indie side.
This single really shows off Trevor Cox's fantastic vocal as well as letting their song writing ability take centre stage.
This single release shows off two sides to this very versatile band but Worlds Collide is one of the those rock tracks that you just won't be able to get out of your head.
