Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes and is set to be one of the summer movies not to miss - if it is anything like the first film, it is set to be a real treat.
Matt Reeves has taken over the director's chair, and has assembled a new and exciting cast list.
Gary Oldman will lead the cast alongside, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Andy Serkis is returning to the franchise to reprise the role of Caesar.
And USA Today have released a fantastic new batch of images:
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier.
They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is released 17th July.
