A Dredd sequel could be in the pipeline.
Dredd hit the big screen last year but after a poor box office performance it was believed that a second movie would not go ahead.
But it seems that fans have a cause for hope as Robot 6 reported that another film could be a possibility.
The Facebook group Make A Dredd Sequel posted this message over the weekend:
"From an UNCONFIRMED SOURCE, it has come to this page’s attention that DNA Films will be reviewing the blu-ray/DVD sales of DREDD in the coming weeks and will be deciding whether or not to make a sequel.
"If this is true, let’s show them how much we want that sequel! If you haven’t already, please buy the DVD or blu-ray! More news soon!"
Karl Urban took over the central role in the Pete Travis directed movie and it was the first time we had seen the character on the big screen in well over a decade.
Earlier this year Urban hinted that a sequel was not off the agenda... so watch this space.
