Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is creeping closer, and it is a movie that I just cannot wait to see.
I was a huge fan of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but it looks like this sequel is going to be bigger and - dare I say it - better.
The brand new worldwide trailer has been released, and it really does have an incredibly epic feel to it. Check it out:
Matt Reeves has taken over the director's chair from Rupert Wyatt, and this is set to be his first film since Let Me In back in 2010.
Andy Serkis really did steal the show with his motion capture work as Caesar, and I cannot wait to see him develop this character further.
Serkis has become a master of motion capture and it is always exciting to see him take on a role like this.
A great new cast has been brought together, as Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Jason Clarke and Toby Kebbell are all on board.
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier.
They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a film that I have been looking forward to ever since they announced that a sequel was in the works... it looks like it won't disappoint.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is released 17th July.
