Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Clips

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will be hitting the big screen in just three weeks, and we have more video treats for you to enjoy.

Matt Reeves has taken over the director's chair, and he looks set to deliver a film that is bigger as well as darker than the first - it really does look like it is going to be a truly gripping watch.

We have two brand new clips from the film that shows both apes Caesar and Kobo in action:

Andy Serkis is back as Caesar, while Toby Kebbell is one of the new names on board as Kobo: he really does look like he is going to be a nasty piece of work.

Once again, motion capture has been used to bring the apes to life, and this was one of the highlights of the first movie.

But there are plenty of new faces to watch out for, as Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell and Kodi Smit-McPhee are all on board.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier.

They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is one of the summer movies that I cannot wait to see... we don't have too long to wait now!!
