Richard Buckley will present Tom Ford with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award at the CFDA Fashion Awards tonight (02.06.14).
The 66-year-old fashion journalist is scheduled to attend the event at the Lincoln Centre in Manhattan, New York City with his 52-year-old designer husband and is also set to present him with the honour, named after Beene - who was famed for his artistic and technical skills as a designer - according to WWD.com.
The ceremony will be hosted by the film director and screen writer John Waters while Greta Gerwig and 'Captain America' star Sebastian Stan will be in attendance to hand out the three Swarovski awards for womenswear, menswear and accessories.
Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong'o was previously chosen to announce the Womenswear Designer of the Year winner while 'The Americans' star Keri Russell and 'Enchanted' actor James Marsden have also been enlisted to present awards during the ceremony.
Rihanna is set to be awarded with the Fashion Icon Award for her constantly evolving style and will follow in the footsteps of former winners including Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Johnny Depp and Nicole Kidman.
Allesandra Ambrosio, Suki Waterhouse and nominee Alexander Wang are among the names of guests expected to be in attendance at The Council of Fashion Designers of America awards, which will be streamed online tomorrow (03.06.14) at cfda.com.
