Following Ubisoft's digital press conference Ubisoft Forward last night (September 10th, 2020), we've got the scoop on the company's latest new IP; their massive multiplayer outdoor sports playground, Riders Republic.
A huge and vibrant open world is on offer to players, buzzing with activity as other riders engage in some thrilling fast-paced sporting action in iconic American national parks including Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley and Mammoth Mountain.
Multiplayer modes give the opportunity to squad up with friends and compete in a wide range of different challenges, whether it be downhill races, team versus team competitions, or epic player versus player tournaments with more than 50 other gamers all vying it out for the top spot.
Personalisation is at the heart of each player's experience, with every aspect of your in-game avatar open to your own unique definition. Your rider can not only be changed cosmetically, but through an evolutionary, progressive-based system that'll see increasingly-powerful and game-changing gear awarded as you make a name for yourself in Career mode, even picking up iconic sponsors along the way.
The game will run at 60 FPS on next-gen consoles and be able to display more than 50 players simultaneously live on screen. Ubisoft also promise intuitive character and camera control combined with an innovative trick system, so that players of all skill levels, from casual to hardcore, can tap into the excitement the game has to offer.

Riders Republic is set for worldwide release on February 25th, 2021 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Stadia and Windows PC, exclusively on both the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. The game will also be available via Ubisoft's subscription service, UPLAY+. Those who purchase the game on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 can upgrade to the next-gen version at no additional cost.
