The collection of Tom Clancy games has received some major expansions over the past year or so, and now players can take part in an all-new expansion to come to the franchise.
Another Crisis event has been added to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, titled Nightmare Fog, and will only be available until Thursday June 2nd, 2022.
Nightmare Fog is intended to test players in different, challenging ways, as a fog made of deadly toxins that cannot be avoided barrels through the Containment Zone.
Rainbow Six Extraction is a first-person shooter game with a lot to offer in terms of content, characters, weapons and more, with the franchise being popular among avid gamers.
The update, which is somewhat ambitious and exciting, not only adds more content to the already jam-packed game, but also introduces a deadly new enemy – Protean Vigil.
From now on, users will be able to earn additional XP (experience) in order to grind out their Operators by a whole ten levels with the use of a new Prestige System.
The more players delve into the toxic Containment Zone, the more fog they will be exposed to. This will increase their Neurotoxin level, making it harder to see.
The Neurotoxins cause effects such as enemy hallucinations, disruptions that affect their vision, and deterioration that causes player damage.
Players will be able to heal themselves, however. They must find a Neurostim supply case; this will, for a short time, remove a portion of an Operator’s Neurotoxin level. The catch? There isn’t a whole load of supply cases out there...
In addition to Nightmare Fog, players can discover more exciting content:
- Ten New Prestige progression levels
- New Protean Vigil enemy
- New REACT Rush Pistol
- Five new Crisis Studies
- Themed Charms for players to keep
- Extra XP towards Milestone Progression
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Expansion’s new Crisis Event, Nightmare Fog, is available via Game Pass on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows PC, as well as on PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft Store, and the Epic Games Store – only until June 2nd, 2022.
