Despicable Me DVD

Get lost in mischievous-minion-madness for February half term as Despicable Me, the must-see family animation, is released on high-definition Blu-ray (triple play), DVD and in spectacular stereoscopic Blu-ray 3D on 21 February 2011, courtesy of Universal Pictures UK. Despicable Me is also available for legal digital download on the same date.

Introducing a whole host of new and exciting characters is an all-star cast featuring compelling comedians Steve Carell (Horton Hears A Who!, Evan Almighty) as wannabe world dominator Gru, Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up) as the very villainous Vector, Russell Brand (Bedtime Stories, St Trinian's) as Gru's gizmo gadget creator Dr Nefario, and Dame Julie Andrews (Shrek Trilogy, The Princess Diaries), as Gru's very mean Mum.

In a secret hideout, hidden underground in happy suburbia we find Gru, who, with the help of his army of mischievous yellow minions is planning the biggest heist in history - to steal the moon!

Finding delight in all things despicable, Gru and his mighty minions enjoy nothing more than using their array of shrink rays, freeze rays and battle ready vehicles to vanquish anyone that stands in their way.

That is, until the day Gru encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad.

One of the world's greatest super-villains has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.

From the executive producer of hit franchise Ice Age, Chris Meledandri works his genius CGI magic to bring to life this hilarious and heart-warming animated adventure.

Filled with fresh and exhilarating characters, an army of lovable minions and clever wit throughout, Despicable Me provides perfect viewing for all the family.

Including a sinfully original soundtrack produced by music legend Pharrell Williams, Despicable Me also comes loaded with exclusive bonus material including three brand new mini Minion Movies: Home Makeover, Orientation Day and Banana, Voices Of Despicable Me, The World Of Despicable Me, Despicable Beats, A Global Effort, Gru's Rocket Builder Game, Super Silly Fun Land Games, Feature commentary on DVD and Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray.
