Comic-Con 2015 saw a plethora of brand new information about some of our favourite television shows released, and it was no different when it came to The CW's turn to take the spotlight.

With their superhero series Arrow, fans in Hall H were treated to a first-look at Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen donned out in his brand new super hero suit, designed by Arrow costumer Maya Mani.

It looks as if Queen will in the fourth season now take the mantle of The Green Arrow, after Roy Harper - Arsenal (Colton Haynes) - took the wrap for everything The Arrow had done last season.

Though Haynes may be out of the show for now, Amell will return alongside Katie Cassidy as Black Canary, Willa Holland as Thea Queen - now Speedy, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer - now A.T.O.M., David Ramsey as John Diggle, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn and Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance.

Comic-Con also revealed the casting for DC Comics character and sophisticated new villain Damien Darhk. Neal McDonough will step into the frame for that character, but for now we'll have to wait and see our first glimpse of him on the show. See below for a glimpse of Darhk in the comic books.

Originally a spin-off of Arrow, The Flash has become an incredible series of its own throughout its first season, and fans were also treated to news about what to expect going forward with Central City.

Well-known to comic book fans as the first DC character to take on the guise of The Flash, Jay Garrick has been announced as a new part of the show, with Teddy Sears taking on the role. Jay will be "a mysterious figure who arrives in Central City to warn Barry Allen and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs of an impending danger that he alone cannot hope to stop."

Executive producer of the show Andrew Kreisberg said: "Having Jay Garrick come onto the show was one of our earliest ideas. It is so exciting, as we rush into season two, that we finally get to bring the Crimson Comet to life. We couldn't imagine anyone more suited to play the original Flash than Teddy."

Not only will Jay appear, but more recent DC Comics addition Patty Spivot, played by Shantel VanSanten.

"Patty Spivot is a police officer and science enthusiast who catches the eye of Barry Allen. Patty is obsessed with metahumans and partners with Det. Joe West this season, but has no idea that her new crush is The Flash."
