Returning later this month in America, both The Flash and Arrow are coming to a head in their first and third seasons respectively, with many strands of storyline being tied up and many more being left open.
The Flash will continue to follow the storyline of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) who's trying to get to the bottom of just who killed his mother - a crime his father has been unjustly punished for and which sees his father behind bars. Whilst viewers know that the Reverse-Flash is in fact Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), this is something the characters in the show are still to confirm. Additionally we see recurring guest stars Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) alongside new villains including The Trickster (Mark Hamill) and Grodd - just how will The Flash and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs deal with the bad guys this time round? And just why is Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) shooting fellow police officers in the back?
Over on Arrow, in what looks like a shocking few episodes ahead, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is facing more trouble as the father of his former girlfriends Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) seems to discover his secret, and he isn't happy with the vigilante for reasons that are yet unknown. We're also given glimpses of what's to come in regards to Ra's al Ghul, who's offered Oliver his place because of his survival during their one-on-one duel. Will he take Ra's up on the offer or continue to be Starling City's secret hero?
