Nikki Sanderson "worried" her 'Hollyoaks' character was going to be killed off by the Gloved Hand Killer.
The 31-year-old actress has confessed she feared her character Maxine Minniver would become one of the serial killer's victims and admitted she could still be targeted despite Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin) being unmasked as the culprit.
Nikki shared: "I think everybody was always a little bit worried they'd be a victim of the Gloved Hand Killer. Fortunately Maxine wasn't, but I might be in the future if they get away with it."
Nikki's comments come after Lindsey was revealed as the murderer when viewers saw her kill boyfriend Freddie Roscoe with a lethal injection after discovering his plan to run away with Mercedes McQueen.
The hospital nurse has also taken the lives of Rick Spencer, Will Savage, Mariam Andrews, Phoebe McQueen and Dylan Jenkins over the last ten months with Ashley Davidson and Dr. S'Avage falling victim in the last week.
Diane O'Connor and Esther Bloom were also targeted to the now not so mystery killer but managed to escape.
Speaking about losing so many cast members, Nikki added to Mirror Celebs: "You miss people so much because you work so many long hours with them and it's such an intense situation. It's a really close knit place."
