Denise Welch, Sally Dynevor, and Jane Danson enjoyed a mini 'Coronation Street' reunion this week.
The cobbles stars past and present, who also included Nikki Sanderson and Angela Lonsdale, had a fun-filled lunch at The Church Inn in Knutsford, north west England, on Thursday (17.06.21).
Denise - who portrayed Natalie Barnes in the ITV soap from 1997 to 2000 - wrote on Instagram: "Not quite lunch on the cobbles but on the paving stones!!! Friends for 24 yrs (30 for Ang and me) and still never a pause for breath!! Gorgeous day (sic)"
Angela - who played police officer Emma Taylor from 2000 to 2003 - also enjoyed the catch up, but admitted 'Corrie' star Samia Longchambon (Maria Connor) and former 'Wheel of Fortune' co-host Jenny Powell were missed by the group.
She posted: "Didn’t stop for breath .. @denise_welch @realjanedanson @sallydynevor @niknaksanderson also @samia_longchambon amd @jennypowelltv you were very missed #corriereunion (sic)"
Denise recently reunited with Nikki - who played Candice Stowe on the cobbles from 1999 to 2005 - in 'Hollyoaks' after she joined the cast as Trish Minniver, the mother of Nikki's alter-ego Maxine Minniver.
The 63-year-old actress recently admitted she is still regularly recognised for playing Natalie in 'Corrie'.
She said: "No matter what else I go on to do, I'll always be referred to as 'former Corrie actress Denise Welch!'
"And my character has just come into the 'Classic Corrie' episodes, which has been great to watch."
And she said the early starts on 'Hollyoaks' were a "shock to the system" after she returned to Soapland.
She said: "Being back on a soap and having 5am starts has been a shock to the system, but at least I've done it before.
"And when you get out of bed that early with a spring in your step, you know you've made the right decision."
