Tony Hutchinson and Cindy Cunningham are getting engaged in a new 'Hollyoaks' storyline.
They get engaged! It's ironic, Tony has no idea it's what she's been after all the time although for a while he did suspect she was manipulating him.
The businessman - played by Nick Pickard - finally decides to pop the question to the devious brunette (Stephanie Waring) after she tells him their on/off relationship is over.
Nick said: "They get engaged! It's ironic, Tony has no idea it's what she's been after all the time although for a while he did suspect she was manipulating him. But she stops trying and, suddenly, he proposes."
Although Cindy only wants to tie the knot with Tony for his money, the 34-year-old actor has revealed his character won't spot her ploy and genuinely thinks she wants to be his wife.
He added to Britain's Soaplife magazine: "He thinks she loves him. Certainly, she does have some feelings for him - it's not just his bank balance, although that is very important to her.
"But Cindy's acting like she genuinely loves him and he desperately wants that love so he's not suspicious. He's fallen for her."
