Nick Pickard lost more than a stone in weight during his time on ‘I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 48-yer-old ‘Hollyoaks’ actor - who was the fourth star to be sent home from the ITV show - found that a diet of beans and rice caused him to shed a significant amount of weight.
Speaking with The Sun newspaper, Nick revealed: "I’ve lost one stone three pounds!
"They weigh you at certain points during the trials and things because there are weight restrictions like on the Critter Mixer and I was trying to look(at the scales) but the medic wouldn't show me.
"So it makes it all the more interesting when you come out."
The soap actor also revealed that he's received a lot of advice regarding his diet after leaving the jungle.
He explained: "One of the ladies said to me, when I was in there, [she] said to me to be careful what I ate when I came out today because I had been on a balanced diet.
"I said that is the understatement of the year. A balanced diet? I have been starving!”
A day after Nick was voted off the programme, ‘Eastenders’ star Danielle Harold also left the jungle.
In her post-show interview with Ant and Dec, the 31-year-old actress revealed she was rooting for the ‘Made In Chelsea’ Sam Thompson to emerge as the new king of the jungle.
She said: "He has literally become like a brother. I think we are both a bit crazy and a bit loud. When someone matches your energy like that, he just makes me laugh.
"I am so glad that this was my year. You know sometimes you're watching thinking, 'I wouldn't want to be in there’, but with them there was not one bad person in there, even Mr Farage."
