Alison King has teased a "very dramatic" clifftop fight between Carla Connor and Tracy Barlow on 'Coronation Street'.
The soap star - who plays factory owner Carla - has revealed her character is to become suicidal as she continues to deal with the guilt of believing she started the fire that killed Kal Nazir and Maddie Heath until Tracy confesses.
Alison shared: "She [Carla] has reached the end of the line and can't face her demons any longer.
"It's very dramatic. It's back where Carla almost died after the minibus crash and Tracy saved her life. So there's lots of dramatic irony!"
Tracy will tell Carla that she wasn't the one who caused the blaze, resulting in the brunette beauty seeing red.
Alison told Radio Times magazine: "Carla's just incredulous - she can't believe what she's hearing. It's the last thing she imagined had happened. Carla genuinely thought that she was responsible for the fire. It's a huge weight off her shoulders, but she is so angry with Tracy."
The filming for the episode involved lots of "health and safety considerations" and had to be rescheduled due to bad weather.
The 42-year-old actress added: "There are always lots of health and safety considerations - it is the same quarry where we filmed the mini bus crash, at least this time it wasn't night shoots. The weather was against us the first time we were supposed to film it and it had to be rescheduled."
