Claire's (Julia Haworth) on edge after another disrupted night's sleep and when the music starts up again from the Mortons' shed Ashley (Steven Arnold) offers to cancel his trip with Josh (Benjamin Beresford) and stay and help. But insisting she can handle it Claire decides to fight fire with fire and when her threats to report the Mortons to the council fall on deaf ears she sees red. Climbing over their garden fence she storms into the shed and Ashley can do nothing as she rips out Darryl's (Jonathan Dixon) sound system and carries it back to the Peacocks'. Michelle's (Kym Ryder) finally offloaded Ryan (Ben Thompson) on Liam (Rob James-Collier) so when she arrives for her date with Steve (Simon Gregson) to discover he's brought Amy (Amber Chadwick) along the couple are gutted. But they're determined to enjoy their night and all is going well at the Italian until Amy suddenly becomes ill. Taking her back to the Rovers Liz finally takes pity on them and offers to babysit, leaving Steve and Michelle free to head back to her flat and some time to themselves. Surely nothing else can stand in their way… or can it?Kirk's (Andrew Whyment) gutted as he reveals Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) has dumped him. Maria (Samia Smith) suspects John (Graham Hawley) might have had something to do with Fiz's decision but she insists they'd just run out of steam, leaving Kirk none the wiser about the other man in her life.And Leanne (Jane Danson) fears that Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is about to blow her cover when he questions her on Spanish property in front of an amused Liam.
