Ben Haenow has said his meeting with Ronnie Wood during The X Factor final was "mind blowing".
The singer was crowned winner of the show on Sunday night, and described the encounter with the Rolling Stones icon as the "pinnacle" of his career so far.
Ronnie performed with One Direction on the show and congratulated Ben following his final performance.
Yesterday speaking to The Sun newspaper Ben explained: "It was mind blowing to meet Ronnie Wood last night.
"I was walking down the corridor and he came up to me. He actually came up to me and said, 'Well done Ben, you did really well'. That's the pinnacle so far."
Ben also enjoyed chatting to Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan who offered him a beer for his efforts in the competition.
"I got to chat to Niall and Louis Tomlinson after the show. Niall walked straight up to me and said, 'Get this man a beer'."
Following his run in with the stars and his performance with Ed Sheeran, Ben added that he's sure he is "going to enjoy the celebrity life".
"My head's spinning when I meet stars, but I could get used to people like Ed Sheeran.
"I'm going to enjoy the celebrity life."
