Natalie Anderson would "love" to take part in 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 33-year-old actress - who is preparing to depart her 'Emmerdale' role of Alicia Metcalfe - has revealed she is keen to spend more time with her two-year-old son Freddie before he reaches school age and though she has no professional projects in place yet, she'd jump at the chance of competing for the mirrorball trophy.
She said: "This year with Freddie is important, the year before he goes to school, but that's not to say I might take on something that fits around my family life. It could be a stage show or a drama or it could be presenting."
Asked if she wants to go on 'Strictly', she added: "I would absolutely love that. If they wanted me then I would do it. But I won't lose sight of why I made the decision to leave 'Emmerdale'.
While Natalie - who married husband James in 2008 - is certain she made the right decision in quitting the ITV soap, she admits she was both scared and nervous at first.
She told HELLO! magazine: "If I'm honest, when I first said I wanted to leave there was an element of fear and, of course, there are nerves.
"But essentially, you make decisions in your life to take you to a different point and I'm incredibly lucky in that I have a wonderful family and an incredible husband who made me feel so secure and reassured in my decision, so I feel excited about the future."
