The dance-off was between the highest individual scorer on Monday, Aaron Carter, and the lowest scorer, Mark Dacascos, who hadn't been able to practice with his normal partner Lacey Schwimmer who was suffering a bout of illness, but in good news for Mark she was back for the dance-off.
Mark and Lacey turned in an adequate cha-cha-cha, but this was to be judged against Aaron's second jive in a row. Aaron goes directly into overdrive something that won the judges over on Monday and it was no different in the dance off so it was Mark heading to the taxi and home.
The show also featured the sounds of Colbie Caillat with a number accompanied by a routine from husband and wife pros Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska. It again must be said Alec and Edyta dance perfectly together and are a pleasure to watch unlike Caillat.
The other guest singer was Rod Stewart, who is appearing on the UK version Strictly Come Dancing this week, his performance there will be accompanied by wife Penny Lancaster dancing a routine. Rod performed "It's The Same Old Song," in a forgettable performance, the show's choice of guests with the exception of Shakira have pretty uninspiring.
