Tom DeLay
First up Tom DeLay who struggled a week ago and got even worse on Monday night. We should explain though Tom is struggling with stress fractures in both feet, it seemed that Tom was out of options. He made it through Monday night's show, but it was obvious he was in pain he announced Tuesday night that he was ready to take the advice of his doctors and withdraw from the competition.
It should be noted Tom went home the week before he would have been doing his home state Texas two-step, host Tom Bergeron told the former politition perform a Texas rwo step in the season finale if he had recovered in time.
However, anyone thiinking they would be no elimination was disappointed the producers worked a double elimination while still remaining on schedule.
The bottom two, as predicted were Michael Irvin and Debi Mazar with the actress getting the boot. Debi took her defeat pretty well, while Michael lived to dance another day. Debi was always on borrowed time, but it was sad to see her leave the stage for good.
The encore dance, went to Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya's samba. strange considering they were one of the lowest scorers on Monday, maybe the judges lost the thread.
Queen Latifah sparkled to sing, Cheryl Burke and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dancing along which the pair found fun as apposed to the usual cover by the shows resident band making Queen Latifah the best guest so far.
Hip-hop group Jabbawockeez produced a cool version of "Singin' In The Rain." Mark Ballas and Lacey Schwimmer, though didn't work quite as well with this as Cheryl and Maksin did with Queen Latifah but fifty percent isn't to bad.
