American Idol the results - Didi Benami became the third girl in a row voted off, but on the upside she’ll get to sing in the “Idol” summer tour, and if she can channel the vocals she brought to her version of 'Rhiannon' on Wednesday, we will be hearing from the singer again soon.
Didi unfortunately did not do R&B very well and the judges chose not to use the save vote, the shame is Didi was not the worst singer on Tuesday but as Simon Cowell concludes whatever the judges say Tim Urban will not be voted off, he is as described by Seacrest teflon coated and as such staying to the end.
Didi has a beautiful voice and maybe she is not for a competition like American Idol, and would have been in her comfort zone with next weeks genre.
Siobhan Magnum must have given a sigh of relief after her bad week this week, but then she has done enough in previous rounds to survive one poor shot, but she need to be on the money next week.
Tim aside who else needs to put in a top performance next week Katie Stevens was in the bottom three it means she’s the early favorite to go go through the door next week given Tim’s apparent invulnerability. Other than Katie Michael Lynche could be the one in danger, it would be too much to have four girls in a row head for home and lets face it he did scare Ryan Seacrest with a wrestling hold..
Usher, this weeks mentor performed live demonstrating the ight way to sing R&B plus spots from Diddy and Ruben Studdard rounded off the night.
Next week: The Lennon McCarthy catalog. a genre that Didi Benami would most likely have excelled something we will not get to know now.
