Releasing the audio for new song 'Welcome To The Show' yesterday (March 17), Adam Lambert then took to the American Idol stage for the first official live performance of the track, with Laleh joining him in front of the millions watching.
Speaking about the track, Adam says: "I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring. I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with two great writers and producers; Ali Payami, who worked with me on 'Ghost Town', and Swedish star Laleh who is also a featured vocalist on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are."
Adam continues his string of success as he tours North America before hitting Europe with his Original High dates.
He'll also be performing in a special two-hour FOX television event as Eddie in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and has been working on another new song with Steve Aoki.
UK fans can catch the final series of American Idol exclusively on 4Music every Monday and Tuesday from 8pm.
