Lauren Goodger thought she was going to die during her seven-hour labour.
The 34-year-old reality TV star and her boyfriend Charles Drury, 24, welcomed their daughter Larose, in July, and Lauren admitted the pain was intense as she didn't take any drugs during the home birth.
She told OK! magazine: "It was the hardest thing I've ever done in all my life. I had a natural home birth with no drugs and the midwife said she'd never seen someone give birth so textbook, the way I did.
"I had a bit of gas and air, which we ran out of and they had to go to hospital to get some more, but I was in my zone and I did it. From my first contraction to giving birth, it was seven hours.
"I went through hours and hours and the first time the midwife checked me I was 8cm dilated, so I worked as hard as I could and breathed through it.
"I didn't get a break because once contractions started they were every 30 seconds – I thought I was going to die.
"This pain was so bad that I couldn't take it and I was exhausted, but when you get to the end bit and she's actually coming out, it's like you get this other energy. She actually came out when I was standing up."
However, Lauren and Charles are completely besotted with Larose and said she is the best thing that has ever happened to them.
Lauren said: "It's the best thing in the world. Real life starts when you have a child. There's this beautiful person you have to look after now you're a mum. It's the making of you."
