America's October 7 premiere of The Flash - The CW's adaptation of the iconic DC character - has become the network's most-watched telecast of all time, since its launch in September 2006.
Taking Live+7 Day Nielsen ratings into account, The Flash rose a massive 41% up to 6.84 million viewers, trumping all other things that have aired on the network, according to a new press release.
Across all platforms which includes digital streaming and unduplicated viewers on-air over two airings from the week beginning October 7, the premiere has been seen over 13 million times.
With Grant Gustin in the title role, it's received some fantastic reviews and retained a huge 88% of its premiere 18-49 rating with its second episode, whilst facing big competition from the World Series on FOX.
The Flash premiered last night in the UK, and continues Tuesdays at 8pm on Sky 1 HD.
