Supergirl could finally be getting her own television series, as Deadline report a new show is in the works at Warner Bros. TV.
Greg Berlanti who currently oversees production on the super successful Arrow and forthcoming series The Flash is said to have been brought in to executive-produce alongside Ali Adler.
The pair have worked together in the past on short-lived ABC superhero drama No Ordinary Family.
Geoff Johns is also reportedly going to be involved in the project, but details on his role have not yet been offered.
Last time Supergirl was brought to the small screen, she was played by Laura Vandervoort in Smallville. This time round, show bosses are hoping to give a fresh take on the origin story of the heroine.
