Steven Bartlett has become the youngest-ever member of the 'Dragons' Den' panel.
The 28-year-old entrepreneur and Sunday Times best-selling author has joined Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies for the 19th series of the BBC show.
Steven said: "I’ve been watching 'Dragons’ Den' since I was 12 years old - it was my first window into the real world of business and investing.
"It’s a tremendous honour to join the Den, hopefully representing a new generation of entrepreneurs, inspiring young and specifically under-represented entrepreneurs to follow in my footsteps."
Sarah Clay, the BBC’s commissioning editor of entertainment, is convinced that Steven - the founder and former CEO of social media marketing agency The Social Chain - will bring something unique to the panel.
She said: "As well as being our youngest ever Dragon, Steven’s unique approach to business will bring a whole new dynamic to the Den. He brings a wealth of experience from the social media, technological and brand building worlds. I’m so excited to see him in the next series."
Earlier this year, meanwhile, Peter revealed he was involved in a backstage bust-up with one of his 'Dragons' Den' co-stars.
The entrepreneur admitted he clashed was an unnamed member of the show's panel during filming - but he refused to name who it was.
He said: "When we're inside the Den there's no illusion. You're a Dragon who is there to win. It's as simple as that. This year, one Dragon didn't speak to me for an hour after I won a pitch!
"There were a couple of Dragons out for my lunch this time, which was a bit cheeky.
"The quality of the businesses really heightened the level of competitiveness in the Den."
