Producers on The Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow have come to some big decisions about potential crossovers, and this week it's been revealed that Stephen Amell will be bringing Oliver Queen AKA Green Arrow to Legends of Tomorrow in episode six.
All won't be as it has been for viewers though, as the Legends will be stepping ahead to the year 2046, where we'll meet the older Oliver Queen along with Connor Hawke.
In the comic book world, Connor is Oliver's son, but his role in the DC television universe hasn't yet been revealed. What is clear though is that Oliver will look a whole lot different to the Green Arrow we know.
Producer Marc Guggenheim explained: "We're not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we're going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow.
"As an added bonus to comic book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character's appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we've ever done."
Amell then took to his Facebook page where he's prolific for keeping fans in the know, to confirm the news, writing: "The Goatee Cometh".
DC's Legends of Tomorrow continues Thursday nights on The CW in the US, and will premiere in the UK on Sky1 on March 3 at 8pm.
