Paul Danan paid tribute to Heavy D following his death.
The former 'Hollyoaks' actor admitted he is in "total shock" after it was revealed that the 'Celebrity Big Brother' star - real name Colin Newell - died this week aged 47.
He tweeted: "My good friend nooooo! I am in total shock...... this is too much to actually take in right now.
"Love you brother. Sleep well with the angels... You will never be forgotten you absolute gorgeous man #RIPHeavyD #Booom (sic)"
Before landing a place in the 'CBB' house in 2016, Heavy D first found TV fame on 'Storage Hunters', and dubbed himself 'The Boominator' due to his celebratory "boom" catchphrase when he landed a good storage unit.
A number of his 'Celebrity Big Brother' housemates have taken to social media to pay their respects.
Stephen Bear shared a picture of them both together on the show, alongside a praying hands and heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Chloe Khan tweeted: "I can’t believe what I have just read . I feel really saddened and weird .
"I got his twitter updates often and he seemed so full of life . Rest peacefully @HeavyHeavyd.
"I don’t even know what to write I just feel weird... life is a strange path . SendingLove to his family (sic)"
Following his appearance on 'Big Brother' - on which he featured alongside the likes of Katie Waissel, Samantha Fox and Lewis Bloor - Heavy worked as a boxing pundit but made an appearance on ITV's 'Judge Rinder' in 2018 over a dispute about his London flat.
His ex Bryony Anne Harris - who fell pregnant with their baby during a whirlwind romance in 2017 - also wrote: "I loved this man we argued we hated each other but we had love at one point and a beautiful daughter.
"Rest in peace you silly thing! Now time to myself please guys no messages.(sic)"
Heavy's friend Nick Nevern posted the tragic news on Wednesday (25.11.20).
He tweeted: "I’m very shocked & saddened to hear of the passing of my friend @HeavyHeavyd ‘u lived ur life the way u wanted to & f**k anyone who didn’t like it! U always brought a smile to my face bro & lifted any room you where in. (sic)"
