The beloved comedy series, Only Murders in the Building, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez has been picked up for another brilliant season. The show streams on Hulu on the U.S, and on Disney+ in all other territories (except Latin America), including Europe.
While the first season hasn’t been out long, as the first episode aired on August 31st, 2021, but fans are already loving the crazy, thrilling atmosphere created by the trio of true crime entrepreneurs.
From the minds of Steve Martin, Don Fogelman and John Hoffman comes a humorous murder-mystery like never before.
Only Murders in the Building follows Mabel (Gomez), Charles (Martin) and Oliver (Short), three people who not only share an apartment building, but a keep interest in true crime and grisly stories.
The three strangers share an interest, or rather obsession, with the tales of murderers and criminals, but suddenly find themselves tangled up in a true crime story themselves.
When a gruesome death occurs inside their luxurious Upper West Side apartment building, the trio believe it to be murder, and decide to put their knowledge of such things to use.
As the group record a podcast, in order to keep track of events, they discover the complicated and odd secrets of their own building, stretching back many years.
Despite their search for the truth, it seems that Mabel, Charles and Oliver can’t help but lie to one another. Soon, the threesome come to realise that a killer could be living among them, so they must hurry to decipher the growing pile of clues before it’s too late.
Fans adore this show already, due to the brilliant dynamic between the main three, as well as the plot, comedy, and a multitude of other things.
John Hoffman, co-creator and executive producer for Only Murders in the Building, stated that "Everyone in our amazing ‘Building’ worked with such love and expertise through extraordinary times -- and with incredible support from Disney, Hulu and 20th TV -- to create a first season that might live up to our legendary cast, our beloved New York City, and to make a show about connection.

It will be great to see another season of this unique show, as audiences love true crime and comedy, and the combination clearly works so well; we cannot wait to see the amazing trio back in action for season two!
