Maisie Smith is not sure how she will "manage" to juggle 'EastEnders' filming with 'Strictly Come Dancing' if she progresses to latter stages of the dancing competition.
The 19-year-old star has been "eating a lot" and drinking plenty of coffee while learning her routines for the BBC Latin and ballroom show and filming scenes for the soap, but she is unsure how she will find the time to learn three dances in a week and shoot scenes, if she reaches that stage.
Speaking on 'The One Show', she said: "I am a busy bee right now. I have just been eating a lot, a lot of coffee and just sleeping as much as I can otherwise I don't know how I stay awake.
"Honestly, especially because the next couple of weeks on the show - if we're still here - you learn two dances and then three dances in a week and film 'EastEnders' at the same time...
"I don't know how I'm going to manage it."
On Saturday (05.12.20), Maisie - who is one of six celebrities remaining in the competition - will be performing a jive to the titular song from 'Little Shop of Horrors' with her pro partner Gorka Marquez.
Last week, she surged up the leaderboard after an amazing quickstep which earned her 29 out of 30, after two weeks in the dance off.
Her mother Julia recently admitted Maisie has been missing her parents in the audience, after they and the other contestants' family members had to stay at home due to coronavirus restrictions.
She said: "As a parent, it's not about her winning, it's not about her being at the top of the leaderboard in my eyes, in my opinion.
"It's seeing my daughter upset and vulnerable … I want to grab her.
"In the early days me and my husband were allowed to sit in the audience… and she would look over and we would give her a big thumbs-up and she said she misses that."
