Kian Egan hated not being able to communicate with his wife during his time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The Westlife singer was crowned King of the Jungle last night (08.12.13) and admits he hated not being able to check if Jodi Albert, his wife of four years, and their two-year-old son Koa were OK while he was in the Australian jungle.
He said: "We had zero communication a week before I actually went in ... And it's not just not seeing her, it's the no communication, not being able to know how our little boy was doing ... normally I'm the type of guy when I'm at home that I'm the one making sure everything is OK so it's that kind of thing that plays on your mind when you're in there."
The 33-year-old star was given the chance to see Jodi halfway through the series, and while that made him miss her even more, it made him realise how much he loves her.
He explained: "It was a very emotional moment ... It was just so special to see her in such a weird circumstance I suppose and it just made me realise how much I loved her and how much I missed her being away from her for so long."
The hunky star was reunited with Jodi last night and he is now looking forward to seeing Koa when he lands back on home soil tomorrow (10.12.13).
Speaking on ITV's 'Daybreak' today (09.12.13), he said: "It's still breaking my heart that I haven't seen him but we're coming home tomorrow so it's getting closer and closer... I can't wait to just grab him and kiss his little face off!"
