Jacqueline Jossa turned to therapy during lockdown to work through her marriage issues.
The former 'EastEnders' actress previously admitted she had moved out of her house with husband Dan Osborne because she "needed some time and breathing space", and the 28-year-old star has now admitted lockdown was a "really good time" for the pair to "go through everything".
She said: "It felt like everybody wanted to watch me fall apart.
"I kept it in for a while, but then over lockdown it was a really good time and place for Daniel and I to go through everything - an opportunity for us to talk through it all. For me, this meant turning to therapy.
"And because of that, I couldn’t be in the same house as Dan. There was no big argument or bust-up, and there were no other girls. Moving out was literally how I had to deal with it.
"It was like when you wake up after a bad dream about someone - you need some space. That’s what it was like with therapy."
Jacqueline doesn't understand why therapy is "frowned upon" by many, admitting it really helped the pair to "talk to one another better".
She said: "It really, really helped, especially in terms of communication, teaching us how to talk to one another better.
"Therapy is a really good thing, whether for yourself or for a couple. I don’t understand why it’s still frowned upon. In America they use therapy like they go to the dentist.”
But she admitted some things she needed to address weren't even about former 'The Only Way is Essex' star Dan.
She added to The Sun newspaper: "Some of the stuff I was dealing with wasn’t even all about him. There were other things too that I needed to address."
In May, the actress confirmed she had been staying at another home, after "really struggling lately".
A post on her Instagram Stories read: "Morning all. This is a message for all of the amazing supporters who always show me so much love.
"I've been honest about my situation at the moment, and yes I've been staying at another house - a house my parents will eventually be moving into.
"I had really been struggling (haven't we all!?) lately and, as I said the other day, I've just needed some time and breathing space. (sic)"
