Graham Bell felt "pretty low" after he accidentally injured his 'Dancing on Ice' partner Yebin Mok, but he has praised Rebekah Vardy for "really supporting" him.
The former Olympic skier was eliminated from the show last night (31.01.21) alongside his stand-in pro partner Karina Manta after he lost out to Rebekah in a skate-off, but he has thanked the star for helping him following the unfortunate incident, which forced Yebin to take some time out of the competition.
He said: "Rebekah Vardy, when I hurt Yebin, was one of the ones who really supported me.
"I was pretty low when that happened.
"She sent me lots of supportive messages and I've promised to teach her family to ski.
"Not Jamie, because he can't do that because he's playing football."
Graham admitted ice skating has really helped his skiing, and he is planning to teach Yebin - who didn't get to compete with Graham on the ice due to her injury - how to ski.
He said: "I've noticed it [skating] has actually helped my skiing a lot.
"Because I did ski in the indoor snow centre, and I felt I was really dialled in. My balance was nailed on, through all of the skating.
"And I'm going to teach Yebin to ski."
Following his 'Dancing on Ice' exit, Graham admitted he drank a couple of bottles of wine and watched TV.
Speaking on 'Lorraine', he added: "I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit hungover.
"It wasn't much of a celebration. It was just come home, drink a couple of bottles of wine, and binge of 'Discovery of Witches' season two."
Yebin has admitted she is "devastated" by Graham's 'Dancing on Ice' elimination.
Alongside a video of herself and Graham on the ice, the 36-year-old figure skater wrote on Instagram: "Sometimes life gives you lemons, and they are just lemons.
"Absolutely devastated that @skigrahambell Graham’s journey on @dancingonice had been cut so short. He had so much more to show that were in the works and in our goody bag! Such a shame. But I can share them with you now.
"Why the events that happen, happened I’ll never really know, I just know it’s pretty sour right now. [sad face emoji] But here is to a man, who works bloody hard, never gives up and is my champion. [star emoji] So proud of the work and dedication we’ve put in,and THAT was real. [flexed bicep emoji] . #Teamyebellina [heart emoji] (sic)"
The professional ice skater had to undergo surgery, but admitted she was still "counting [her] lucky stars" her bones or tendons weren't slashed after Graham's blades accidentally went into her shin during training.
