The reality TV hunk confessed he is obsessed with the stories which are written about him online so is always trawling the internet to see what tales are being shared.
Asked if he Googles himself, he admitted: "Every single day, just to see who's sold what story about me. And 80 per cent of the time it's complete bulls**t or something that's been blown out of all proportion."
The 27-year-old star's habit hasn't helped boost his self esteem though and he said he would love to stay cooped up in his Essex house all day if he could because he feels "insecure" as a result of being constantly "judged".
Questioned about where his favourite place is, he said: "My home! I'm like a hermit. I'd never leave if I didn't have to. I'm a bit insecure and hate being judged, so I tend to lock myself away."
Nevertheless, the former 'The Only Way is Essex' star is currently feeling happier than ever before thanks to his girlfriend Holli Willis.
He added to Star magazine: "I'm so loved up with my girlfriend Holli Willis. We dated when we were younger, but got together again about four months ago - just after I came back from doing 'Ex On The Beach' in Mexico. Funnily enough, I'd sworn off my exes after meeting Cami Li again on the show, but I've realised she was just one of the horrible ones. I'll never let Holli go again."
