An inquest has heard Mick Norcross was found hanged in his basement.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star was found dead at his home in Bulphan, Essex, on January 21, and an inquest, held virtually by Essex Coroner's Court, has now heard that he was found hanged.
Sarah Lee, of the coroner's office, said during the hearing: "Mr Norcross was found hanging in the basement of his home.
"Paramedics attended and sadly pronounced him dead.
"Police attended, all protocols were followed, and his death was confirmed as non-suspicious."
Mick - who became well-known as the owner of the Sugar Hut nightclub - died at the age of 57 and a post-mortem last month found that his cause of death was suspension by ligature.
The inquest into Mick's death has been adjourned until July 22.
The TV star - whose son, Kirk Norcross, was one of the original 'TOWIE' cast members - took to Twitter on the morning of his death.
He wrote at the time: "At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could. And that is good enough."
A spokesperson for Essex Police also revealed that they were not treating his death as suspicious.
The spokesperson said: "Sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Former 'TOWIE' co-star Mark Wright recently paid tribute to Mick, describing him as a "gentleman".
Mark, 34, said that the club owner was "a nice guy" and "always so welcoming".
He shared: "I just want to send my condolences and my love to the family and Kirk, he obviously must be broken-hearted.
"What I did know of Mick, he was such a gentleman, such a nice guy, he was always so welcoming at his club.
"It's just so sad."
