Mandip Gill says the Dregs were the "scariest" 'Doctor Who' villains she's faced so far.
The 32-year-old actress - who joined the cast of the BBC sci-fi show as companion Yasmin Khan in 2018 when Jodie Whittaker became the Time Lord - admitted the huge monsters were terrifying on set because they were "actually there" on set.
Taking part in an online Q&A for the official 'Doctor Who' Twitter account, she said: "The scariest monster so far that I've had to face, I think, would have to be the Dregs that were in last week's episode....
"Being up against 7 foot monsters that were actually there. The thing about these monsters is that they were actually there, we didn't have to use our imagination.
"And Spencer, who plays one of the Dregs, really got into character and used to chase us, so I'd have to say the Dregs."
Mandip also opened up about how her life has changed since joining the programme.
She quipped: "Dramatically. I can't go out by myself, I have blacked-out windows on my car, I can't speak to loads of my friends and stuff like that.
"It's different. Jokes!"
In fact, she insisted there's no real difference, and the star explained she doesn't really get recognised by fans if she's not wearing makeup.
She added: "It's absolutely the same, apart from the amazing opportunities and friends and experiences. I just generally don't get recognised.
"I've got makeup on now, but I don't always wear makeup, so obviously I look really different when I wake up in comparison to how I do on screen. So, that's something for me to think about!"
