Steven Moffat has given fans the impression that narrative could change following the 50th 'Doctor Who' anniversary special.
That special - 'The Day of the Doctor' - is going to star David Tennant alongside Matt Smith and John Hurt, and will be broadcast on BBC One while also being shown in cinemas worldwide.
In an interview with Broadcast, Moffat said: "My main thing [when writing the script] was that as much as we celebrate the past, we can change the narrative.
"You can't tell a story by being frightened about it." he continued.
