New 'Doctor Who' boss Chris Chibnall reportedly wants the show to return to its educational roots.

The incoming head of the science fiction favourite - who has replaced former show runner Mark Gatiss - is said to be keen to find a balance between teaching viewers and entertaining them, in the spirit the show was launched with in the 1960s.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The Doctor has all of space and time to explore so it'll be fascinating to see the gang from 2018 having a good rummage around in big, important events which have changed the course of history."
It's said that Chibnall wants the Doctor's new companions Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Yasmin (Mandip Gill) to witness important historical events with relevance to their own ethnic backgrounds.
In one episode, the time traveller - played by Jodie Whittaker - will meet American civil rights activist Rosa Parks, and see the moment in 1955 when she famously refused to give up her seat on the bus for a white passenger - which helped bring an end to segregation in the US.
Meanwhile, there will also be an opportunity to explore India and learn about the country's past - and potentially Yasmin's own family heritage.
It comes after former 'Doctor Who' leading man David Tennant suggested new star Jodie could bring a lot of humour to the role.
The 46-year-old actor - who portrayed the 10th Time Lord from 2005 until 2010 - is a close friend of the former 'Trust Me' star and is looking forward to seeing how she portrays the first-ever female time-travelling alien on the popular BBC sci-fi series.
He told Heart Scotland radio: "Because I know Jodie and I can imagine all the things that she might bring to it, I'm thrilled to see what that's going to look like and what the stories are going to be.
"She's such a great choice. I'm hoping the public will get to see sides of Jodie that she's often kept hidden in the brilliantly sort of detailed character studies that she presents to the world.
"There's a madness to Jodie, she's one of the funniest people, so I think we'll get to enjoy some of that in The Doctor and it's really exciting."
