DC's Legends of Tomorrow is going to be a show of "total madness" according to showrunner Phil Klemmer.

Bringing together heroes and villains from the worlds of Arrow and The Flash, the new CW series will see them form a team to travel time and take on new faces as well as some that may be very familiar.

New concept art was released for the show through Entertainment Weekly, featuring Firestorm, and though Martin Stein (Victor Garber) has been confirmed to appear, Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) has not - something the art may now answer.

Talking more about the show, Klemmer said to EW: "They're screw-ups. Instead of tiptoeing through history, they're plodding through it, leaving their footprints and fingerprints and constantly having to wonder whether they're going to screw up the future rather than fix it... It's going to be total madness."

He continued: "Who can resist the urge to correct the past or investigate the future? The idea of traveling through time has a caper quality to it, and that's what we're looking forward to. Yes, there will be the big 'try to stop Vandal Savage', but people will inevitably become diverted on their little side missions and when people are trying to fix their own timeline, that's when you really start screwing things up."

DC's Legends of Tomorrow will now premiere in America on The CW in Spring 2016.
