Daisy Wood-Davis will miss the "craziness" her 'Hollyoaks' character brought to her life.
The 27-year-old star bowed out of her role as Kim Butterfield on last night's (17.10.18) E4 episode of the Channel 4 soap, and while she is "proud" to have been part of the programme for four years, Daisy hinted her alter-ego could be back at some point.
She said: "The past four years have been a complete joy working at 'Hollyoaks'. I'm so proud to have been a part of a show that works so hard in delivering such fun, entertaining and important storylines five days a week.
"What an experience it's been! I fell in love with the show, the creatives, the cast (in particular a Donovan brother!) and with Kim Butterfield. I'll miss the excitement and craziness that she brought to my life, hopefully one day I'll say hello to her again, you never know."
Kim's exit came after she took the blame for poisoning Glenn Donovan (Bob Cryer), despite the real culprits being Grace Black (Tamara Wall), Simone Loveday (Jacqueline Boatswain), Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson), and Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan).
She fled the village only to turn up at a bus stop where she found herself sitting next to a stranger who turned out to be Rick Astley.
The 'Never Gonna Give You Up' hitmaker was whistling along to his big hit and reading the paper when Kim spotted him.
After the episode, the singer admitted he had "really good fun" shooting his cameo.
He tweeted: "Who saw a familiar face on @Hollyoaks tonight?
Thanks to the cast and crew for having me on the show, really good fun! - Rick x (sic)"
Rick's cameo came after Kim had sought solace in a poster of the music legend while she was locked in a school for three months - and he admitted this week the plot was "pretty weird".
He said: "The whole thing was really bizarre, the storyline was pretty weird. It's kind of a crazy storyline.
"They just asked me if I would do a cameo and I said, 'Of course I would.' "
