Rumours circulating that Colin Farrell will appear in the second season of True Detective have been confirmed by the actor himself.
Speaking to Irish newspaper Sunday World, he told of how he'll be starring in eight episodes of the series.

"I know very little about it, but we're shooting in the environs of Los Angeles, which is great. It means I get to stay at home and see the kids.
The new season is said to revolve around a "bloody murder of a corrupt city businessman".
Police officials from three different cities are slated to join the investigation in a bid to solve the case.
Nic Pizzolatto has hinted in previous months that the new cast will feature four lead roles.
