The 'Emmerdale' star is set to return to the ITV soap this week, and she has joked her "super b***h" alter ego - who will set her sights on tempting Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) away from his romance with Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) - can take over from US President Donald Trump "for a while".

Speaking to The Sun, she said: "Coming back to 'Emmerdale' was very daunting but the best decision I've ever made.

"It's so much fun playing a soap super b***h as you can get away with saying things you'd get a deserved slap for in real life! I don't think she could be any bitchier - she just sees her goal and aims for it no matter who's in the way.

"And I think she'll probably be the most hated person in the country for a while, until we see a softer side (and yes, she does have one!) I think Donald Trump can relax for a while!"

The 56-year-old across is glad to be heading back to the Yorkshire Dales, having first spent a decade on the soap after her debut in 1989, before her alter ego returned again for a cameo appearance last year.

Meanwhile, she insisted she is "totally different" to her character, and quipped that the only similarities are their identical looks.

She added: "It's odd to think people get a little confused between fact and fiction and think I'm like Kim, heaven forbid! I'd need a bodyguard if I were!

"Apart from looking like her, I am totally different. I'm way more down to earth and far lower maintenance!"
